Where can I see a full listing of songs that you teach?
If you are not a member of JamPlay yet and would like to see a full listing of songs before joining, you may do so by going to "View Free Lessons," then clicking on one of our 4 free song samples towards the bottom of the screen. Once you are on the lesson page, look at the tabs below the video screen and click on the one that says "Our Song Lessons."

Please note that there are many, many more songs scattered throughout all of our genre lesson series, but they are not in this list because they are part of a series and not stand-alone song lessons. Check out "What We Teach" to see a listing of all our genres and every single lesson we teach complete with mini descriptions.
Do you offer bass lessons?
Although bass lessons may be considered for future site development, they are not available on JamPlay right now. At this time, we are fully dedicated to providing the best and most thorough resource for electric and acoustic guitar.
Can I download your lessons?
We currently do not support a feature that will allow our lessons to be downloaded. You must have a decently quick internet connect to view our streaming Flash videos, so it's a good idea to check out our free lessons before joining to see how your computer handles them. Go to the main page and click on "View Free Lessons" to see a listing of our samples. If you are having streaming problems, read the FAQ directly below titled "I'm having problems viewing your videos. Can you help me?" for answers.
I might have been double-billed - help!
If you looked at your online statement directly after purchasing a membership and noticed two "pending" charges, don't panic. Pending charges have not been taken from your account yet and aren't always real charges. Sometimes there will be two billing attempts sent through to your bank if the first attempt was declined, and even though it says there are two pending charges, only one will be taken from your account. When a charge settles that is when the money is taken from your account, not beforehand. Please check your statement the following business day to allow your bank enough time to accept one charge and erase the other.

Note: If you think you accidentally clicked the "Complete Singup" button more than once, you may have gotten double-billed. The best way to know for sure is to wait a day and see if your online statement changes. If not, contact us and we will immediately reverse the second charge.
What's your cancellation policy?
Canceling is very easy. If you plan to pay your monthly or quarterly renewing membership using a credit or debit card, you would want to log into your JamPlay account, go to "My Account Settings," click "Cancel" and confirm. If you plan to pay with PayPal, would want to log into your PayPal account, cancel your existing subscription with us, then confirm. You will receive e-mail confirmation when done correctly.

Yearly memberships do not automatically renew and therefore do not need to be canceled.

Note: Canceling only cancels your account from automatically renewing on your next billing period and does not erase your current paid time. You may reactivate a canceled account at any time by logging in and following through to the renewal option screen.
I just signed up but cannot log in!
First, please try to log in from this sepcific link: http://www.jamplay.com/members/

If your signup was successful, you will receive a couple e-mails immediately. One will be your payment receipt and one will welcome you to the site with your login information. If you have not received these e-mails, it is likely that your sign up did not go through.

The most common reason for a signup to be declined is the username chosen. If your name is Mary and you tried signing up with the username "Mary" then you can bet it has already been taken by another member. Please try something like "Mary123" to make the username unique to you. Please also make sure all of your information is correct before submitting a signup. If you are positive that you are a paid member and you still cannot sign in, or want to make sure before singing up again, please contact us for further assistance,
I'm having problems viewing your videos. Can you help me?
Below are the most common ways to fix video issues you may be having. If you choose to write an e-mail to us about video issues, please include all of the steps here you have already followed and be very specific so we can better assist you in moving forward.
1.) Upgrade to the latest version of Flash. You can get Flash version 10 Here: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ All of our videos use Flash to play, so it's very important to keep up with the latest version for best video performance. Not having the latest version can cause video stuttering, syncing issues, skipping, stopping or loss of video all together. Once you are absolutely sure you have correctly downloaded and installed the latest version of Flash, please reboot your computer and try again.

2.) Make sure to use the newest version of your web browser. We highly recommend using FireFox, as it's faster and safer then most internet browsers (download it from http://www.getfirefox.com ) However, the latest version of any browser will work as long as it's properly updated. This is very important to ensure site compatibility and optimal performance.

3.) Change your quality setting for faster loading times and server for possible increased connectivity.

4.) Don't run other applications while using JamPlay. If you are having stuttering problems or the video plays too slowly, try running our lessons without any other applications going. Click CTRL, ALT and DELETE at the same time to bring up the task manager, and there you can end programs that you are not using.
If I sign up for a monthly membership now, can I upgrade it later?
Certainly! You may upgrade your membership at any time. If you sign up for a monthly membership now and would like to switch to a quarterly or yearly membership later, you may upgrade in the members area and your new membership will be placed onto the end of your monthly membership. This means that none of your monthly paid time will be lost in the upgrade.
I've got a song request. How can I submit it?
We are happy to review and consider your song request, but please note that we absolutely cannot guarantee it. Please join if you like what we have to offer on the site already, then request your song on the side. As a member you may go to our member forums and submit your request under "Request Fest."
I'm left-handed. Is JamPlay right for me?
We currently do not offer left-handed specific lessons, but that does not mean it's impossible to learn. Although we cannot guarantee our site will fit your left-handed learning needs, there are many left-handed players who have been able to learn from our lessons. Some will flip everything around in their heads, play in front of a mirror, or even learn to play right-handed.
I have limited internet usage. How big are these lessons?
Because we do not support a download feature on the site, it is important to know the approximate size of our lessons for limited internet users. The lessons all vary in length and qualities, so you will have to do a separate calculation for each lesson:

Low Quality: 150k/sec
Med Quality: 400k/sec
High Quality: 900k/sec
Super High: 1200k/sec
I see a piece of equipment on your site. How do I place an order?
We apologize for the confusion, but we do not sell guitar equipment. We are an affiliate with sites that sell equipment because we have products that go hand-in-hand. We specialize in high quality guitar instructional videos and would be happy to assist you if you wished to pursue our services. If you are interested in a product you see on our page, please click on the product and you will be directed to the site who actually sells it.
What is a CVV2 code?
The CVV2 code (also known as a security code) can generally be found on the back of your credit card. If you are using a:
Visa: it will be on the back, just to the right of your signature. It will be 3 digits long.

Mastercard: Same as Visa. On the back, last 3 digits.

Discover: The last 3 digits of the card number on the back.

American Express: This is the only card that has a 4 digit security code. You can find it on the front of your card to the right.
