| My dad was a pastor and for 35 years I played the piano for the church.........Daddy passed away in 1992 and I inherited his guitar. It sat in the case for 18 years. In January the current pastor asked me if the new person in the church could play the piano a couple of Sundays a month. I have always wanted to learn the guitar so I told the pastor "let him play all 4 Sundays." I took the guitar to the local guitar specialist and he restrung the guitar and did some other stuff to it, and now I play the guitar every week. I had to keep the amplifier turned way down as I worked my way through the chords. I want to learn fingerstyle guitar..........I'm not there, but on my way. | |
