| I have aways had a passion for a wide range of music , from folk to blues, rock, 'world music' and anything in between - preferably played live. I attend several music festivals a year, plus other gigs, and a folk session or acoustic night most weeks. I have been singing (acapella folk and community choirs) for abut 10 years and playing fiddle for 3. So, I have a lot of catching up to do. I know that starting this late in life, I can't expect to become a highly accomplished player, but I will be happy if I can make a nice sound, maybe accompany a few songs, and be able to join in at sessions. Anything more than that would be a real bonus! | |
