Originating in Spain, Flamenco guitar is a stylized form of classical guitar meant as an accompaniment for dancing. This art form has recently been made popular by groups such as Rodrigo Y Garbirela. These groups use more western influence to popularize the style. However it doesn't necessarily reflect the true origin or purpose for this guitar art form.
