You confused me a little bit with a progression pattern during your demonstration of quick change. You start it off from D7 and then go to A7 then D7 -> A7 -> E7 -> D7. Which key are you playing it in? I am tempted to say it is a key of A but I can't understand why did you put IV chord at the beginning for half of a bar?
Nice lesson, Daniel. Can this rhythm be mixed up wth a single note melodic line in between the comp, and if so, is there a general rule as to which bars of the 12 bar blues should be comped and which can be soloed over?
