Music Reading Lesson Five : The Fifth and Sixth Strings
Jim Deeming is back again with the sixth lesson in his music reading series. Jim will cover the fifth and sixth strings in this lesson. He will teach the names of the notes, where they appear on the fretboard and how they can be read in standard notation. Near the end of the lesson he will also give an exercise to test your knowledge of all 6 strings.

Blues Guitar Lesson 22 : Passing Notes
Hawkeye is back with his 22nd lesson in his blues series! This lesson on passing notes adds to the previous lesson on the pentatonic scale. Using these passing notes will officially transform the pentatonic scale into the blues scale. Hawkeye encourages you to practice the scale in ascending and descending order, but also encourages you to jump around and find your own unique sound.
