View Previous PageView Next PageNew Phase 2 Series: Lead Guitar Concepts & Techniques with Hodges
Start off your weekend with a new series from JamPlay with none other than Mr. Dennis Hodges. This series breaks away from the "metal" style lessons you may be used to from Dennis, and takes a more conceptual approach to lead guitar playing.
This series blends conceptual lead instruction for developing solos, improvising, and harmonizing along with lead techniques such as legato playing, bending and sweeping.
The first lesson in the series starts with the Major Scale, and introduces you to tasteful improvising in a 1 octave shape. This lesson also covers many theory-based, musical relationships between chords, scales, and arpeggios. Enjoy :)
