Since the mid 70's I've plucked at guitars infrequently, and taught myself by ear how to play some chords, and a few short riffs. But have never had time (or made time) to take lessons. Late 2015 a couple buddies of mine, who have been in bands before and play very well, showed me a chord progression to play, then they joined in and played the lead guitar parts...it was really fun! I felt inspired to improve so that I can jam with my friends, or simply pull out the guitar and play while sitting in front of the campfire, or anytime, and sound like I know what I'm doing. So, I put learning to play guitar on my bucket list. |

After struggling to learn a few Neil Young songs using tabs, chords, and videos I found on the internet, I thought it would be good to take some lessons. So, when I received a JamPlay trial membership from the Kyser capo company, I thought "now that I'm retired, why not give guitar lessons from real instructors a try". So, here I am. |
