| I have been working on scales and I came across this vid on You Tube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uA8bZgPSl-M After the boredom of practicing scales I was delighted to see how knowing scales in combination with note selection makes for the ability to solo over chord changes. I would like to have Mike Beatham as my instructor but did not see him on the list. | |

| I actually began playing years ago but never studied theory. I just learned songs and banged away on chords. I put the guitar down for a number of years and then decided to pick it up again and try to do it right. | |
