Wah Wah Pedal - February 19th, 2008 (1 minutes, 30 seconds)Todd asked, "My friend gave me this wah wah pedal and wandering if there is any lessons with them maybe a lesson of a voodoo child slight return by Hendrix would be sweet?" View ResponseA Shaped Barre Chords - November 6th, 2007 (4 minutes, 17 seconds)Mav67 asks: "I am facing a major obstacle whilst trying to get down these God forsaken A shaped barre chords. My ring finger will not bend at the top knuckle making it impossible to utilise conventional fingering that most other players use. The only way I can get it is to fret an A chord using fingers 2 3 and 4, then using the index finger for the barre. This is uncomfortable and difficult to move in and out of during chord movements. Can any of you please look into your vast vessels of knowledge and shed some guiding light to help me out? Thank you." View ResponseLearning Scales - June 12th, 2009 (6 minutes, 16 seconds)Miccgil88 asked "Hello, I started playing about 2 or 3 months ago, and, I believe have come a long way (thank you very much for the awesome learning tools). Now I'm looking at getting into improvisation on both electric and acoustic. Every time I look into it, I always hear to learn scales. As I look through the scales, I notice there's a whole lot of them. Is there an order or a way you would recommend learning scales? Thank you, Craig" View ResponseRight Hand Technique - June 12th, 2009 (4 minutes, 00 seconds)Lucasholland asked "Hey guys, I've got a question on right hand technique as it applies to playing with a pick. It seems that there are 2 main styles out there: The first one involved the hand looking like a fist. The other style has the fingers kind of sticking out. I hope you know what I mean. When I first started I played in the first style all the time but I read on the internet that the second style gives you more accuracy and my experimentation has so far confirmed this. I'm not as adept at that technique as I am at the fist-like technique but with practice I think I could get there. What's your take on those 2 techniques? Thanks, Lucas."
