Date: June 12th, 2009 | Length: 5.52 | Instructor: Brad Henecke

Akelley asked "I don't know if you guys already have a lesson about this, but i am trying to learn the aeolian mode up and down the guitar. I know Brad Henecke shows it in 1 position, but can you guys do a lesson on using the aeolian mode for solos? i can rip through the scale but i cant then phrase into the Dorian or whatever scale comes next. I'm a bit confused as you can probably tell from this butchered question." Another benefit of being a member of JamPlay is the video response section. Guitar Tuning and Temperature Changes - June 9th, 2008 (1 minutes, 49 seconds)
scopexs asks, "I have been wondering about tuning and temperature. In my area it is cold in the morning and I will sometimes tune my guitar and play for a little relaxation to start my day. Later the temperature will get warmer and I have wondered if I should wait to tune my guitar. I thinking about expansion and contraction and the effect on tuning the guitar. It seems that in the later part of the day I end up having to retune the guitar down to get the proper tuning. Should I wait until the temperature levels out to tune? Thanks for you help...." I currently have a Korg Tone works PXR4 and Digitech guitar effects. Can you recommend a particular setup; I didn’t want to spend more than a $1000-1300 if I can help it. Thanks." View Response
Fingerpicking Technique - August 14th, 2009 (5 minutes, 44 seconds)
Ablazich323 asked "Hey guys, I've been going through Mark's lessons for the past few months and those lessons are mostly (if not all) about rhythm guitar and using a pick. However, i do want to expand my playing and i have tried to sorta teach myself how to finger pick but it isn't working out too well. Any advice that you can give me with finger picking and also are there any specific few lessons i can look at to give me some insight? Appreciate all the help." View Response
