Rwolfe asked "Hello jamplay! I just joined and am very impressed with the site. My question deals with using the capo. I play sometimes with two other guitarists and it can get boring if we are all playing the same chords open on the guitar. I have been told that 3 different guitarists can capo at different spots so that each guitar has its own voice, say in a G-D-C progression. Maybe one guitar is open, and the other two have capos. Thanks again for a great website." Another benefit of being a member of JamPlay is the video response section. Down Picking and Speed - December 3rd, 2008 (4 minutes, 13 seconds)
Seppo asked "Hi everybody! I've been trying to play some easy metal song like Walk from Pantera or for whom the bell tolls from Metallica, but I've had some problems with fast downpicking parts. I can't keep up with the speed, just playing the open E string fast is hard for me. I was wondering if I might have something wrong with my technique, 'cos the upper part of my right arm gets painful easily from fast downpicking. Sorry for bad grammar and thanks for helping! :)." Clinsteadt asks, "Is there any where on the website where I can learn a whole song and not just bits and pieces of one. Plus I wanted to ask if you guys could start putting more current songs on the phase three part of the site. Most of the songs on there I haven't heard of before and it would be nice to learn some more current songs." View Response

Crackdown asks: "Hey, I was just wondering in the opinion of the Jamplay staff do you think that someone completely new to guitar should start with an acoustic or electric guitar. I really like the idea of playing both, and am interested in what is easier to learn and probably more versatile." View Response
