This man is the most down to earth person I have ever contacted through the internet. He actually wrote me back, gave me a code to get on here for free without putting in my credit card info, he's simply amazing wish I had the money & time to see him. Your stuff is awesome man ! Trust I will be in contact with you dude, for as long as the road will allow us to journey on it ! Keep playing man!

Just started watching your lessons...but would really like to hear about your nails. I just got acrylic overlays and have issues with clicking. I've noticed a lot of seasoned guitarists using these techniques (not standard classical) and I'm struggling with getting rid of 'clicking' after variations of nail shape.

toneacustoneacus replied on April 19th, 2012

been playing for years, it's awesome learning from someone with your kind of passion for the guitar.

I'm another person who renewed Jamplay just to see the Trace Bundy lessons - looking forward to watching the whole thing! I'm halfway through learning "Dueling Ninjas".

gibstratgibstrat replied on July 14th, 2010

somewhat similiar to erik mongrain, but they both obviously have their different tone and qualities.

I was a jamplay member last year but let my membership lapse because I didn't have time to practice. I just saw that Trace had video lessons on here so I just renewed my old membership. I saw Trace in concert a few months ago and he is awesome. Great to see him on Jamplay now.

priscilla annepriscilla anne replied on June 21st, 2010

Wow! Just joined Jamplay and what a first lesson! I know, start with the beginning lessons and work through, but Trace has some great advice for beginners too. Love his work and can't wait to start tapping.

His music is poetry in motion, using harmonics, looping, multiple capos, and his unique banter and stage presence to deliver an unforgettable live concert experience. Listening to his intricate arrangements is one thing, but seeing the fan-dubbed "Acoustic Ninja" play live confounds even the most accomplished music lovers as to how one person can do all that with just two hands and ten fingers.

Trace has sold over 100,000 combined digital and physical music sales on his record label, Honest Ninja Music, and regularly sells-out shows with standing ovations at venues across the USA and around the world, in 16 countries and counting. Video clips circulate virally at astonishing speed, with over 8,500,000 YouTube views to date.

Trace was named "Most Promising New Talent" of 2008 by Acoustic Guitar Magazine, as well as winning third place in the magazine's "Best Fingerstyle Guitarist" category the same year. Last summer, he performed at Colorado's Red Rocks Amphitheatre in front of a crowd of over 7,000 people, as part of The World's Largest Music Lesson. Over the past couple of years, Trace has shared the stage with Neko Case, Brandi Carlile, Judy Collins, David Knopfler (Dire Straits), Bill Nershi (String Cheese), Laurence Juber (Paul McCartney & Wings), David Wilcox, Chris Hillman (The Byrds), Stanley Jordan, and MOFRO, among others.

Dave Kirby from the Boulder Weekly says "Possessing a staggering acoustic technique, on both right and left sides, Bundy has made his reputation as a next generation solo guitarist of serious repute."

Audiocast Magazine from Austin, TX agrees: "Bundy's live show is without a doubt an event that needs to be witnessed rather than told about. With such a jaw-dropping performance, Bundy's live concert is a slap in the face that would leave a palm print on the memory of everyone in the audience."

Take a minute to check him out and you'll agree that Trace Bundy must be seen, not just heard.

"I feel like a 12 year old kid with a new guitar!"

I am 66 years young and I still got it! I would have never known this if it had not been for Jamplay! I feel like a 12 year old kid with a new guitar! Ha! I cannot express enough how great you're website is! It is for beginners and advanced pickers! I am an advanced picker and thought I had lost it but thanks to you all, I found it again! Even though I only play by ear, I have been a member a whopping whole two weeks now and have already got Brent's country shuffle and country blues down and of course with embellishments. Thank you all for your wonderful program!

"With Jamplay I can fit in a random session when I have time and I can go at my own pace"

I'm a fifty eight year old newbie who owns a guitar which has been sitting untouched in a corner for about seven years now. Last weekend I got inspired to pick it up and finally learn how to play after watching an amazing Spanish guitarist on TV. So, here I am. I'm starting at the beginning with Steve Eulberg and I couldn't be happier (except for the sore fingers :) Some day I'm going to play like Steve! I'm self employed with a hectic schedule. With Jamplay I can fit in a random session when I have time and I can go at my own pace, rewinding and replaying the videos until I get it. This is a very enjoyable diversion from my work yet I still feel like I'm accomplishing something worthwhile. Thanks a lot, Greg
