I play and sing well enough to perform live in most situations, fingerpicking, and strumming with proficiency, but consider myself an average guitar player. I'd like to get to that next level and start dropping riffs and different phrasings into songs and being able to solo without running out of things to say in less than a minute. :) |

After seeing Ace Frehley with Kiss in 1977 I got started playing. I've played a lot acoustically, performing wherever I could, being "that guy" at the party, getting dates regularly out of the deal. I was in bands too, playing electric and doing lead vocals, recording a lot of original material along the way. After having a family, I still played but not with anyone, until one day at church they asked if I could play bass. I took that job and quickly moved up to guitar and the team leader, which I've done pretty steadily ever since. |
