Master procrastinator. Decent vocalist. I want to become more fluent in my playing and be able to play along to music that I like, to find keys and tonal centers and chord progressions faster. Also I want to be able to write more interesting music, the stuff I'm writing now is pretty basic. Not that there's anything wrong with basic and simple stuff, but I don't want to be limited to only that. I want to improve my rhythm playing as I’m feeling very limited when I’m singing and playing at the same time — I hardly do anything on the guitar other than strumming chords while I’m singing, and that’s not very interesting for the listener. |

Started playing the piano somewhere between 9 and 11 and played it till I was around 16 when I started taking vocal lessons instead. I picked up the guitar around the age of 14. Have been in a few bands, both original music and covers. Now I'm turning 40 and I'm the singer in a cover band. Work is seriously getting in the way of my playing and I'm dreaming of a career change. |
