| I just want to get better: I want to learn more songs and play them well, and I want to be able to play well with a singer, and maybe even a band (play in time). My technique is slow and inaccurate (picking and strumming), so I hope to, well, make the most of any potential I have. I don't come easy for me! | |

| I know a few simple songs that I play, I'm starting to play at Synagogue and it seems some of the Jewish music has a lot of fast chord changes, so I need to make chords more solidly and change more accurately and faster. Also, my strumming is okay, but then I see better players and they seem to be strumming much lighter and quicker - I want to be able to do that if my physique will let me - I seem to be a bit "stiff", and I think it's my physique - so maybe I can't do much about that. People say some people have "piano fingers" or "guitar fingers"? I don't, unfortunately :-( | |
