I've been playing since I was nine and now I'm 62. Even with all those years of playing in bands and learning from other guitar players, it's good to be here and continuing to learn new things and improve my playing and expand my playing style. |

I began taking lessons in 1962 from a well know Pittsburgh Country Guitarist, Slim Bryant and the Wildcats. He taught lessons in the basement of his Hallmark Card Store run by his wife and bandmember. Took lessons for five years. Found girls and put the guitar down for a few years. Picked it back up in College and joined a band that lasted on and off for fifteen years. I'm a fan of the 60's and early 70's music genre. Among my favorites are Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray, BB King, Albert King, Joe Bonamassa, Tom Petty, Beatles, Stones, and Eagles. I want to learn blues rhythm and lead as well as rock lead. I play both acoustic and electric. Want to record a CD of my own originals before I join Jimi, Jim, Stevie, and Janis, just to mention a few. |
