I started playing in1989 when I got a Bentley acoustic guitar for Christmas. I got a Mel Bay 1 book the following day and started teaching myself.

Immediately following High School graduation in 1994, I helped form a band writing original music that was similar to what was popular at the time, started gigging in the Ohio State University Campus and The Short North areas of Columbus, Ohio. Three years later the band broke up and I was playing whatever stuck in a rut.

I joined the US Navy in 2003 and didn't really play much until 2008 when I had a townhouse managed save while deployed to buy equipment. I have been relearning and jamming every chance I get.

In 2017 I was medically discharged from the Navy. Now I am working, raising my three daughters, and keeping the flame for music I have alive. Country music is my focus now and I plan to mesh it with what I already know about rock and blues.

I'm looking to start gigging in about 6 months and later in the year get my foot in the door writing jingles for an agency or radio stations. They say, "If you love what you do then you never work a day in your life." I intend to find out if that is true.
