What I have seen so far of Jamplay, I am really positive. I went to after-school lessons, and had a nice female teacher, artist, who made some poprecords early 1960's, it was all classical guitar. Carulli, Carcassi are some of the names I remember. I played on stage with a class mate, we played duo's. I was 10-15 yo. I went pretty well at it, but it was boring. Then I got a electric, and today it is a fine Fender Stratocaster. Also I have a Jackson with sustainer mike. And a VERY well equiped studio. My genre is experimental music for video art. I see myself as a hopeless low talent guitarist. But I have a improvisation talent, which comes to life in my total music projects. When you fell that you have no obstacles, and fast can form so heavy sounds-landscapes-rhytmic-collage - you understand that in this there is a god given talent. I do have that, BUT when it comes to guitar, you have to excercise, excercise, excercise, excercise, excercise, to manage to climb over obstacles. I want to learn tricks and way to play and make music that I hear is complex - be simpler by experiences and learning "the trade" step by stp, the right way. I think I then covered pretty much what I am. Cheers! |
