As a lead guitarist, I get frustrated jamming with bands because I’m limited only to songs I already know and the standard 12-bar blues shuffle. I want to have a well-rounded foundation to be able to understand and play different rhythms and, therefore, become a more effective lead player. My style is mostly blues country rock, but I have interest in hard rock and soul as well. |

I started playing at the age of 19 with zero guitar experience whatsoever. I started out playing metalcore e.g. BFMV and Escape the Fate, until I got a blues teacher and jammed with his band a few times. The Army (and having cranky neighbors) squashed my playing for a few years, but now I’m getting back into it and want to play in the local scene. |
