I've tried another site as well as Jam Play before and I just didn't apply myself and so It was not only a waste on time but also money. I really want to learn how to play both the acoustical and electric guitars and this time I'm making a "big financial" investment in the hopes that this will inspire me to stay faithful in my efforts. I think that my problem in the past has been that I tried personal lessons and I didn't feel as if I was getting anywhere and with the two sites, I felt as if I was being encouraged if I did make any progress -- no one on the site seem to know what I was doing and so I just stop practicing. My fault I know!

I stated out taking lessons but didn't feel I was getting anywhere and so I quit and tried teaching myself through various CD's and guitar lesson books. However, the books didn't answer the questions I had that arose. So, I then turned to sites like Jam Play but became discouraged because I felt like I was "just taking a lesson" with no real interaction so again I stopped playing. So, when I saw your add on-line I thought that I would give this one more shot. Hopefully this time with my larger financial investment I will be more encouraged to stick with trying to play.
