Well, I've been casually playing guitar for almost 20 years now as a hobby and I have also played piano, played in bell choir, and sang for my local high school Christmas madrigals and plays for a time. When I was in high school, I wanted to pursue a career in music, but decided against it and went to pursue media arts and animation instead to try to make music videos and own a studio that developed video games. After graduating college, struggling to keep the studio alive, and my co-founders no longer being invested in growing the company, I decided to resign and look to see how I could try and bring joy to others with my passions while doing a bit of soul searching. Not long ago, I found that one of my 5 favorite guitarists came to play with her band and I decided to go to the local meet and greet just so I wouldn't feel as awkward going to a show by myself. We talked for a time before and after the show and she inspired something that I thought couldn't be brought to fruition, which brought an old flame of mine back to life. So my goal out of all of this is to take my guitar playing more seriously, hone my skillset, become a renowned professional guitarist, and help others heal and find a home within the confines of my music.

I started with guitar when I was about 10 I believe and I learned piano a little bit before that. I never really learned through the conventional way of playing guitar, but rather just learned as I went along and taught myself for the most part. Starting out, I had no idea how to even tune a guitar, let alone play. So as a result, I'd tune it to the best of my abilities and attempt to learn different cords from a guitar that (I thought) sounded decent at the time, despite the guitar turning out to be entirely out of tune. (I even remember a time when our neighbor would end up blaring her music from across the driveway as I'd sit outside and practice.) But as all things that come with practice, I got better, picked up different chords I found goofing around, and learned to play at a somewhat moderate level.
