| I am 68 years old. Never had a guitar as a teenager coz my Dad didn't allow it!! Have tried off and on in last 20 years to learn to play for the sheer fun of it but despite lessons never had the discipline to practise properly. Now convinced that I'd really like to have another go and being retired, have the time to commit to this. Have found odd YouTube free lessons quite useful but the idea of a structured course appeals to me. Would like to be able to play blues numbers on acoustic or electric as well as learn a few more songs to sing along with. Would quite like to learn some basic lead riffs on electric just for the hell of it! | |

| Mainly learning chords to accompany singing. Terrible right-hand technique, need strumming lessons. Have messed about with a couple of E-guitars in my time, never learnt properly! Have a good ear for melodies. Had repertoire of about 10 songs with a pal I used to jam along with but never performed in public coz I made too many mistakes. Playing very much for the sheer fun of it!! | |
