I'm the lead guitarist in a congregational band once a month. Played intensely during high school and college doing coffeehouse gigs almost every weekend. After that, occasionally organized band situations, but usually played rhythm rather than lead. Spent about a year in the mid-1980s leading a band that played original material but after band got out of the garage and played its first gig, band fell apart and I did not play regularly again until the late 1990s when I joined my first congregational band.
