| I know about 8 chords. I have some fretboard knowledge (very minimal). I'd like to be able to get better at playing guitar, to the point where I can sit down and play songs with my friends or other musicians in a jam session. I particularly enjoy finger picking. So I can sit down and strum the few chords I know but that is it. Something has to click with me to put all this together... It just hasn't yet. The current internet classes are good but very much into music theory and a bit above my knowledge base. So I'm looking to learn more and finally use what I learn in a cohesive way. Thank you. |

Just play mostly when I'm by myself. I do have a friend who I get together with occasionally. Mostly I practice warm ups and the chords I know (so I won't forget them ????. Once in a while I will try to play along with a song from my ipod
