| My father always played Classical, on his one and favourite guitar. Andres Segovia would list highest on his heroes list. I played acoustic in HS, dabbled with my father's Classical guitar & books after uni, and only now, years later, am I finally getting around to some good solid playing. Near term goals include playing some good fun folk/rock - Paul Simon to start - with my beautiful wife (a very bright and talented soprano) on vocals. Longer term goals - my long-term dream goal is to gain some proficiency in Flamenco. Do I have what it takes to achieve that.. ask me again in a few years! Right now I'm working on acoustic strumming and fingerstyle. Folk/rock, bluegrass/celtic, and a bit of Johnny Cash to round things out. | |

| My two true loves - my guitar, and my singing, guitar-gifting wife. Yep - that's right, my Takamine acoustic-electric was a gift. I got to spend hours at a Guitar Center to find my mate, and I was under strict orders not to look at or worry about prices. Best day of my life, second only to every day since that I've been able to play and sing with the wifely one! :) | |
