| I am OK at first position chords, but not barre chords. I want to play "lead breaks" at jam sessions. In general, I want to improve my fingerstyle picking skills and expand my knowledge of musical styles on the guitar. I would also like to learn some electric guitar, but I haven't purchased one as yet. | |

| Started acoustic guitar when I was about 25, stopped after a few years and switched to banjo, stopped entirely for 20 years or so, started again with acoustic guitar. Have enjoyed playing jam sessions and open mic stages for the last few years and have performed a few times on stage (fun). Have a play-list of about 200 songs mostly folk, some blues, and not enough bluegrass or jazz. | |
