| I played the guitar some 20-30 years ago. I wasn't very good at it, but I did get past the very basics. Now, I sing in a band and at 51 I dream of being able to play rhythm guitar. Nothing fancy, just being able to produce a bit more sound on the songs that we play - we don't have a guitarist at the moment - and when we get one, to be able to fill out the rhythm parts so he or she can concentrate on riffs and lead etc. I want to be able be technically good - and tight, I want to be able to be able to play barred chords as well as open. And learn some strumming patterns too. | |
