| I live by the seaside in England. Started learning guitar in October '12, can sing most styles and dabbled with piano for a while. Can play 7 chords on my guitar now, just got annual jam play membership! I have an eclectic taste in music. Since the mid 70's I've loved CSNY, listened to lots of Zepplin, Floyd, Queen, Tamla Motown. Favourite female vocalist/performer is Tina Turner. I most enjoy singing Blues/Jazz styles like songs sung by Billy Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald and Nina Simone. I now want to sing and play, so will explore the different genres. I live with an ex professional guitarist and we have three guitars in the house: a John Birch Custom, deep bowl Ovation and a semi acoustic Crafter for bottleneck playing. It would be great to have some friends in the USA, my step daughter is currently in San Fransisco, I hope to visit in 2013! |
