I am interested in pursuing a Master's Degree in Music. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Craig C. Cunningham. I am an Attorney and work for a Law Firm with offices in Naperville and Harvey, Illinois. I am a guitarist, and I have played the guitar and studied music since the age of 10. I studied music first at the Conservatory of the Arts, St. Louis, Missouri. Then, In 1984, I attended the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, California. At the Musicians Institute, I had the opportunity to study with Keith Wyatt, Daniel Gilbert, Don Mock, Joe Pass, and a variety of brilliant musicians. After I graduated, I worked as a session musician in Los Angeles. I then went on tour with two different bands, as we toured the U.S. I came back to Los Angeles, and attended the University of Southern California Guitar Program. I studied with Paul La Rose, Duke Miller, and William Kanengiser. Through the University of Southern California, I attained strong performance skills in Classical Guitar and Jazz Guitar. I graduated with a Bachelor's in Music and Political Science in 1990 from the University of Southern California. After trying to decide upon different career choices, I decided to go to Law School. I decided to follow my studies at the University of Chicago School of Law. As an interesting side note, I entered University of Chicago School of Law in 1990 and in 1992, I took two classes from, at the time, Professor Barack Obama, who of course now is President of the U.S. I graduated from University of Chicago in 1993, and started practicing Law.

Now, I find myself reinvigorated with my love of music. I really do love music. I am teaching undergraduate law courses. I am very interested in pursuing my music studies. I want to continue formally studying music with more seriousness. I am seeking an audience with you, Dr. Hathaway, and Mr. Haque, because I want to pursue a Master's Degree in Music, but I also want to ask some questions of how it will fit into my life, now. I know that you are both very busy, but I would truly appreciate the opportunity to discuss these issues. I want to discuss how this pursuit of a Master's Degree in Music will fit into the larger picture of my life. I want a Master's Degree in Music. I know that Music fulfills my life and strengthens my life in unique and special ways. I have investigated the Northern Illinois University School of Music website. I have more ideas and issues that I would like to discuss that are not answered in the website. I hope that we can meet soon. I look forward to starting the Master's Program in the Fall, 2012. I live in Sycamore, Illinois. I also work at Kishwaukee College in Malta, Illinois. I also have taught classes at Northern Illinois University in the College of Law.

I am including a link to our legal website. I hope this can provide you with additional information. Further, you may find the Legal Jet Website interesting as a method through which Attorneys answer general questions for those who need answers. I truly look forward to hearing from both of you soon. I plan on contacting your offices, and I hope that you have had a chance to read through my email. I am very excited about embarking on continued formal music study. I continue to play guitar and study music presently, but I am looking for more depth in my music study.
Sincerely,
Attorney Craig Cunningham
