At this point I'm not sure what JamPlay has to offer, or if it will be a good fit. I don't want to have to choose acoustic or electric....or a particular style of music. I'd like to pick and choose what I learn and when. My goal, as far as music is to learn enough to be able to play with others. I'm 60 years old and doing this for my own enjoyment. I had about of year of guitar and then have been away from it for 2 years. I am taking online lessons for ukulele and really like that....so am hoping to find something similar to study guitar. |

Guitar(s): | Fender Strat, a couple of Taylors and a gorgeous Cherry Blossom Gretsch. |

Ambitious beginner. I was to the point where I was playing in jams weekly. Then haven't touched my guitars in 2 years (stopped to raise a lab puppy who was a monster and kept me occupied for 2 years). Now I'm trying to get back to my music. I've picked up my ukuleles (so I could build some callouses) and am playing in a group, weekly. I also started taking online lessons for finger style uke and I'm loving it. But it's time to get back to my guitars. |
