| I want the guitar to become a serious part of my life. I have many hobbies but the guitar is a very versatile instrument and I can play it anytime. I had given up the idea of playing guitar because lessons are so expensive but once I discovered lessons on Youtube I eventually made my way here and I love it. I come here for inspiration because sometimes I want to play something and have no idea so I poke around in lessons and jump on. It is great. My very long term goal is to play jazz but obviously I have a long way to go. | |

| I started in my teens but stopped as lessons were too expensive but now I am 51 and I play almost everyday even for fifteen minutes. I bounce from acoustic fingerstyle (thanks Jim Deeming!), Bruce Cockburn to my Gretsch playing Rockabilly riffs and some Hendricks with my strat. Also, I am trying to learn scales and theory. I love dipping into jazz but I need to learn a lot of theory before I can really know how to play jazz. | |
