I played off and on for many years till I started studing with Wayne Mason, Alaska best fingerstyle guitarest who was killed in 1983. Up to around that time I played in coffee houses and bars and resturants in Alaska. I stopped playing much after he died. By not playing I lost many of the skills I once had. and I am now trying to get them back. For more information about me check out my website. |

Guitar(s): | Classical Alvarize Yairi. 12 string Takamine turned into a 9 string. And 6string guitar Lute |
Amplifer(s): | Yamaha six channel mixer and Bose 402 speakers |
The Takamine is new to me it takes the place of a $5,000 Taylor I once owned. I am blowen away by the tone and ease of playing the Takamine, much better than the Taylor. I have taken off the three smaller strings in the bass because I play finger style and the bass sounds much better to me without those strings. It cost only $750 online and is a jumbo flame maple back and sides with spruce top and very taste full Abalone and mother of pearl inlays and is a cutaway it also comes as a six string. The model is EG523SC-12. The finish is first class and has an onboard tuner and preamp as well. Its a great value. So If you are looking for a new axe check it out. |
