| I started playing as a teenager, but college, career, and several moves around the country killed my practice habits. I started playing and studying again in 2008. I like a lot of different styles of music, just so long as it's done well. So Willie Nelson, Wolf Parade, Deftones, Andrew Bird, Modest Mouse, and Joe Satriani are all on my iPod. In my non-guitar playing time, I work as a linguist for a cartographic firm, doing geographic research in Russian, Czech, Hungarian, and Georgian. I enjoy watching and playing hockey, cooking, drinking wine, and have recently begun to learn about programming. | |
