To become more familiar with the fretboard and recently have started learning notes in various locations (i.e. A in different pentatonic positions. I would like to be able to play lead i(improvise) n various positions without stopping. Good players seem to move quickly and almost automatically. Play notes with chords and be able to play the in tune notes. Connect phrases and chords. Play chords in different positions and add fill ins in between chords.
Mostly be a better player. |

As a teenager through 20 years old played in a few bands (battle of the bands and a few gigs). Played for fun and relaxation from twenty to sixty but never got much if any better.
