I took standard old school "Mel Bay" style lessons when I was a kid. It was way too slow, boring and I only learned the very basics and learned nothing of theory. i do not just want to be able to play well, I want to fully understand music theory as well so that I can create my own riffs and songs |

I took standard old school "Mel Bay" style lessons when I was a kid. It was way too slow, boring and I only learned the very basics and learned nothing of theory. Hadn't played for many years then bought a Fender Acoustic about 15 years ago and got up to speed from where I had left off on the lessons I took as a kid. Learned to finger pick a few pieces. However, the acoustic guitar hadn't left the case for about ten years until about a 2 years ago and I started up again but finally decided that I really want to learn to master the guitar and what I want to master is the electric guitar so I purchased a Fender HSS Special (Mexican) Stratocaster and a Fender Mustang amp. I know a few chords and can strum a little, finger pick a little, and play a few riffs. |
