| I began guitar in '82, but didn't get serious until '84. Never really had a lesson, except for advice from friends, and am proud to say that I am 99% self-taught. I put the guitar down when I entered the military, picked it upagain a few times, then recently decided to re-learn all I have forgotten so that I can play for friends and family. I'm also joining a new "music therapy" group at the Veteran's Medical Center here...kinda a weekly jam session/lesson give and take kind of thing. I've gone through some of the lessons here, and have found some AWESOME exercises and practice stuff. I'm SO glad I joined! |
