I'm married, have three little girls, and am the pastor of tiny rural Hoosier Prairie Baptist Church in Louisville, IL. I am a huge nerd. I love Calvinistic theology, Reformed rap, the Puritans, and computer programming. I'm also a bit of a Linux nut, and I currently have three computers running Linux Mint 7. |

My grandfather left me his 1951 Gibson J-45 when he died. I was a youth minister at a church in Atlanta at the time, so I thought that it would be a good time to learn how to play. I've always used the guitar to lead worship singing, and practically nothing else. I also developed a deep love affair with Gibson instruments, and (after a brief experiment with a Martin) decided that I will never play anything else. My new Dark Fire is my most prized possession, and even though it is ridiculous for a person of my limited skill to buy such an expensive instrument, it makes me enjoy learning to play all the more. |
