I am a pretty fair acoustic folk guitar player.
lower level acoustic blues,

I am a novice at Electric.

Have lots of acoustic things I would like to learn, but chief desire that brought me to JamPlay is electric blues.
In a Band: No
Skill Level: Intermediate
Guitar(s): Seagull S6, Ibenez AM73B Semi-Hollow, Takamine 12-string
Amplifer(s): Various small Rolands, 30w Acoustic
Long-time participant in the "folk song army" 1960s and '70s. Peter Mary, Paul Simon, Jim Croce etc..

Dropped out for 20 years, now playing again. Playing the above at a fairly good level, not pro level.

Have always wanted to walk on the wild side and learn a little electric, particularly (but not limited to) electric blues.

Finally bought the Ibenez, but am a little intimidated by it, don't know what to do other than treat it the same way I do my acoustic stuff, and that won't do.

I read reasonably well (not tab) lots of other instruments/voice somewhere in the past, good general theory background, even played some classical for a couple of years back in the day to build some chops for fingerstyle folk.

But I don't know what to do with this new thing!
