To learn well enough to mimic the parts that are played on top 40 tunes of the past the Iconic ones we all know and play. I've played keys all my life and want to be able to play the Rhythm parts & the small lead phrases that are a part of most Rock Country Rock a Billy & Reggae songs Singing was always the most important part of my performances.

I have a nice Cakewalk Platinum version which comes with lots of plugs fx more that i can remember its very cool but Hard to learn to use despite my many years of analog studio work even owned my own 8 track open reel with a studiomaster mixer. I was also the Rep for Kawai Korg Studiomaster Kurzweil work for Sequential circuits Profit 5 days JlCooper worked in Music stores a part time job to pay for extra toys I wanted with out dipping in to my weekly daytime pay check . I was asked to come work for those music manufacturers full time for many years but I had a great job at General Motors as a Tool Maker 13 yrs. That covered my household bills Health Care Dental care Vision Paid holidays paid vacation so .. I always said one day but I'm not ready yet. Also playing as much as I wanted to for cash paid for the gear PA upkeep a Van to drag it around & car insurance.

But I also had a Stereo Hi Fi highend gear problem & why not it goes well with the playing recording & wanting the best playback gear.. but i ws a addict $600 for a phono cart. and that was a mid priced one 35 yrs ago.

I had built a huge pile of mic's 35mm camera;s lens tripods flash gear even had a B&W developing lab in our basement My dad shared that fetish he also loved open reel recorders and recording us in the basement or garage with our first attempt to woe the girls. The became the love for just playing

and I owned a few Motorcycles like a Snortin Norton 850 cafe racer a Yamaha 1400 drive shaft and others I would trade off and on for dirt bikes or an engine

I do know many things about playing that will help me but they re theory and Chords & chord patterns the way songs re constructed and all that shit I don't read the notes quickly I 'am a hunt and peck every good boy type of guy.. I just have to overcome the caluoses i hear people
