As a kid I always wanted to learn guitar. At about the age of 8 my parents put me in guitar lessons. I played for about a year but lost interest b/c I was playing simple songs and no chords. At about the age of 21 I picked up a six string, acoustic, and 12 string guitar. I started taking lessons again but this time learned songs. It was awesome! Cannot remember why I stopped but probably b/c of money. Last year I picked up a six string guitar thinking that it would be great to play guitar around the campfire when we go camping with our new trailer. I played around a bit but realized that I was probably not winning friends with my camper friends. I decided that I really wanted to realize upon a long standing life goal of learning the guitar. I self taught myself on the piano (basic) so I believe I can do the same and then some on the guitar.
