"sonofazarel asks, "When i practice scales with three notes per string such as the mixolydian position I ascend using my 1st 3rd and 4th fingers, when i descend I use fingers 4, 2 and 1. Is this going to come back and haunt me, should i push myself to use the same fingers both ways?""
