so glad this song got posted! it's my favorite... i found a tab 2 weeks ago and have been learning it since... but it's good to know how it's all picked. seems like you play it a bit differently from than when you recorded it.

Kaki admits that she pretty much plays everything a little different all the time. We do have tab coming, but as you can imagine, because of the odd tuning and complex nature of the songs, it takes a little longer.

The tabs are now done! Like Jason mentioned, it's important to realize that Kaki likes to add some subtle variety by varying the arpeggio patterns she plays and such. The tabs I posted are not an exact transcription of the first scene. I did them based on how she explains the parts in the latter scenes. Enjoy!

About Kaki King View Full Biography Kaki King (born Katherine Elizabeth King) was born in Atlanta, Georgia on August 24th, 1979. Showing early aptitude for music, Kaki was initially introduced to guitar and soon after the drums. Kaki has been active in the music industry since around 2001. Her first studio album, Everybody Loves You, was released on Velour Records in 2003. Since that time Kaki has released four additional records with another due out later this year (2010). She has quest appeared on the Foo Fighter's album Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace, as well as contributing to film scores such as August Rush. Kaki was named in February of 2006 a "Guitar God" by Rolling Stone Magazine. Other notable accomplishments include a Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Score for music from "Into the Wild."
