D Major Chord - February 25th, 2008 (2 minutes, 23 seconds)Brianm579 asks, "It is easier for me to play the D Major chord with my 1 finger on the first string (second fret), my 2 finger on the third string (second fret), and my 3 finger on the second string (third fret). The instruction and chord charts show it slightly different, with the 1 and 2 fingers switched from how I do it. Is there any problem with playing it the way I do? I have found it makes it easier with some chord changes. I am concerned that down the road it could cause problems as I learn more." I also notice that acoustic-electric guitars have XLR outputs. Can you explain to me where the stereo and XLR cables plug into, do they plug into two amps at the same tim, do they plug into a PA speaker, where do they go. I would appreciate the info. From Jamplay's 14 year old user, Jaron." Please could you let me know if there are any songs on the website that are taught with a focus on rhythm as opposed to melody, (ie sing the melody over the chords) Thanks Alex" View Response- July 18th, 2008 (2 minutes, 34 seconds)Sylvia asks, "Hi Guys. I have this problem with my G-string. It creaks when I tighten it... Do you think I need nut sauce? If so what is the best way to apply it. Should I put it on while I have the G string on? Or should I apply it before I put my G string on? Sylvia" View Response
