Country and Gospel - March 17th, 2008 (0 minutes, 29 seconds)Raymond Jorder asked, "Where are the country & gospel songs?" View ResponsePlaying Upstrokes - February 2nd, 2009 (3 minutes, 29 seconds)Lucasholland asked "Hello, is it necessary to strike all the strings belonging to a chord when doing an upstroke? I read somewhere that only the treble strings have to be played when doing upstrokes (and all of the strings for downstrokes). Is that correct or do all of the strings that belong to a chord have to be strummed when doing an upstroke? Thanks and keep up the excellent work, Lucas." View Response- July 18th, 2008 (2 minutes, 31 seconds)Geva bar asks, "hi, i am a beginner, yet i could move my fingers around the neck and play some chords, when should i start to learn to read music notes, and does jam play offer these lessons" View ResponseTabs and Chords - November 22nd, 2008 (3 minutes, 15 seconds)Dear Jim, Just recently I joined jamplay.com. And here is my first question. How do you read tabs that are written like this: [Intro] C C Am G/B G/B C G Am I close my eye G Dm7 A7 G/B only for a moment, and the moment's gone. C G/B Am All my dreams G Dm7 Am pass before my eyes, a curiosity. D/F# G Am Am/G Dust in the wind. D/F# G Am All they are is dust in the wind. I know that you must listen to the song and then play the chords, but I just cant seem to get the strumming right. As i said I just joined the site 2 days ago but I like it very much. Its more organized and the instructors like you seem to point out the beginners mistakes better then on my old website.
