Galloping Rhythm - August 28th, 2008 (3 minutes, 44 seconds)
Ssnowman asked "Hey guys. First I just wanna say that I love JamPlay and I've learned a lot since I've signed up. My question is about galloping rhythms, such as in the song Barracuda by Heart and quite a few metal bands. Basically, why can't I do this? Albeit, I've only been playing for 6-7 months but I actually have an easier time doing 16th notes as opposed to triplets. I just can't keep a steady rhythm for some reason. Any tips on improving in this area?" View Response
Stereo and XLR Outputs - August 28th, 2008 (5 minutes, 50 seconds)
Jaron asked "I notice that on some guitars such as the Epiphone Les Paul Ultra 2 that it has a mono and stereo output. I also notice that acoustic-electric guitars have XLR outputs. Can you explain to me where the stereo and XLR cables plug into, do they plug into two amps at the same tim, do they plug into a PA speaker, where do they go. I would appreciate the info. From Jamplay's 14 year old user, Jaron." View Response
Botleneck - November 6th, 2007 (6 minutes, 11 seconds)
Vegarbakken asks: "Hi! I've just bought myself a botleneck (metal). Do you have any lessons or tips for me? I've bought it because I love to play rough blues, old style, on my acoustic guitar - so if you can post my some cool blues licks I would be glad. Take care - Vegar " View Response
Learning Songs - August 28th, 2009 (3 minutes, 55 seconds)
Jreely08 asked "Hi Steve! I have a question about learning songs. My problem is I get excited to learn a new song and get really good at playing the beginning, then I get bored and never end up learning the rest. Do you have any advice for me? Thnx I love Jamplay! Jay." View Response
Playing While Standing - February 2nd, 2009 (3 minutes, 32 seconds)
Hcso asked "Instructors, My question may sound a little dumb but I've been playing and practicing the guitar long enough in the sitting position, that when I stand up with it everything is off. I'm hitting the wrong strings and not finding my power chords like I can from the sitting position. This is very frustrating. Has anybody else had this problem. Do I need a strap that brings the guitar closer to me? I don't know what else it would be. Any help is welcome Josh." View Response
