Sista Vee says: "I am not sure I understand how to start participating in lessons. I am unable to get the teaching videos to show. Still, from what I have been able to get into I have already answered by most pressing reason for joining here with Steve's instruction in strumming. I have gotten stuck strumming all of my songs with the same pattern and now I have a sure understanding of strumming and already hear remarkable differences in my playing in days. How do I actually get to participate now that my fees are paid?" Another benefit of being a member of JamPlay is the video response section. Our expert staff fields questions from our members and provides video responses each week.

Guitar Feedback Problems - June 9th, 2008 (3 minutes, 12 seconds)
JamPlay.com member wupnride asks: I play an Epiphone Zakk Wylde , an Epiphone custom and a strat style ESP.All have the active EMG humbuckers.I used to play through a Randall solid stae head but now I am using an EVH 5150 head and my feedback is just out of control. The only pedals that I use are a BBE Sonic Maximizer,Boss Chorus,Boss Noise suppressor, and a Planet WAves tuner. I have even tried cutting back on my amp volume and increasing my sound at the board.I have also tried cutting back on the volume at my guitar. Are there any pedals or rack mounted effects that can reduce my feed back?I really could use some good advice on this one. Thanks View Response

Christmas Songs - December 19th, 2007 (4 minutes, 24 seconds)
Juant asks "I bought my first guitar 1 week ago. I bought a Fender DSG starter package. My immediate goal is to learn two Christmas songs by Christmas Eve, so that I may play them for my 11 month year old son. So far I have learned the: E, A, D, C, and G chords, sand I'm transitioning fairly well between them. Please recommend two songs that only use the above chords, and advise if you have lkessons for them, so that I may cram between now and then. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and all the best in 2008. Thank you in advance, Juan Enrique" View Response

lespauljr asks, "I have noticed that a lot of heavy metal guitarists use the Floyd Rose Whammy Bar system. It seems to give them quite a unique and very "Metal" sound. I am looking to blend the sounds of Heavy Metal and Country to achieve a unique voice. So my question to you is...How can I install a Floyd Rose Whammy Bar system on my acoustic guitar? Jamplay rocks always! Vaya con Dios, lespauljr" View Response
