Freakinrican77 asks, "Dave, I know from chatting with you that you own a Vox DA5. Just wanted to know if you could share a couple of your favorite settings on it. I like to use the Crunch 2 Style with the Chorus delay when I want an echo type of sound. I also like to use the Crunch 2 with the Flanger effect. This combination gives it a supersonic jet type of sound. Thank you for recommending it to someone in the chat room. It's been a SOUND choice." dllfiles asks "Just was curious on whats the easiest way to do tremolo picking. Im learning Knights of Cydonia right now, and some of the song is temolo picked. I have a hard time doing that or will I just get better by practicing more? I have a Fender thin pick so that seems to help. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!" View Response

I know your teaches writes these themselves, what type and brand of the equipment do they use it sounds so good! I looking for a good drum machine and recording unit. I currently have a Korg Tone works PXR4 and Digitech guitar effects. Can you recommend a particular setup; I didn’t want to spend more than a $1000-1300 if I can help it. Thanks." View Response

Lespauljr asks, "I have noticed that a lot of heavy metal guitarists use the Floyd Rose Whammy Bar system. It seems to give them quite a unique and very "Metal" sound. I am looking to blend the sounds of Heavy Metal and Country to achieve a unique voice. So my question to you is...How can I install a Floyd Rose Whammy Bar system on my acoustic guitar? Jamplay rocks always! Vaya con Dios, lespauljr" View Response
Fretboard - May 26th, 2008 (2 minutes, 23 seconds)
Mingofalls asks, "Is there any particular reason why the frets on the neck of the guitar are larger near the tuning pegs, and frets get much smaller as their going towards the body of the guitar. Also, are most guitars pretty much the same when it come to the 'number' of frets, or are their guitars with many more frets than the standard guitar? This is such a cool site, and I appreciate everyone's input. Thanks, Crisco" View Response
