Video Question:

July 18th, 2008 - Aquiguillermo asks, "Have been following you fo some time. I have enjoyed very much your lessons. I´ve been teaching myself with the help of self access methods. At this moment i feel a bit confused as to how to continue. I used to have more time to practice. Now i will only have about 3 to 4 hours to study. How would you advise to design my study plan to make the most of this time? I think i need speed and precision and strength in my left hand to barr... I usually practise in my La Valenciana accoustic and my Les Paul epiphone electric and my Roland. Thanks in advance for your kind reply. Guillermo México"

Right Hand Injury - February 5th, 2008 (7 minutes, 50 seconds)
Prana32 says, "Hi there, I am right handed, and do not use a finger pick, and I have been experiencing pretty bad pain in the right thumb and also on the pinky finger and below it where it becomes the outer part of the palm. I am quite convinced that this injury is linked to my incorrect technique of fingerpicking...perhaps tensing the wrist too much, or something of this sort. My question is, what are some good tips on keeping the right hand safe from injury while still having accurate fingerpicking technique? Thanks a bunch, Alex" View Response
Easy 2 or 3 Chord Songs - February 19th, 2008 (1 minutes, 16 seconds)
Umbertone asked, "Hy guys, First of all, I love this site. I wish I could have had this opportunity 40 years ago. Oh, well!!! Since I'm not in it to become a master guitarist, but to have a bit of fun with my guitar, I'd like to ask you guys if you could prepare some videos about what I think may be easier songs. For examples, I'd like to learn some Beatles songs, or some CCR, or Eagles, or Queen. I would really appreciate the effort. Thank you very much. Keep up the excellent work you're doing. Umberto." Plectrum or Fingers - December 5th, 2007 (2 minutes, 13 seconds)
Calumito asks, "Do I have to use a plectrum for electric as I am much more comfortable using my fingers which I've been doing for the last year? Will it be a limitation or does it make no difference? Thnks" View Response

Jaron asns, "Hello, I've been playing guitar for about 6 months now. For now, the only amp I have is a cheap 15 watt Peavey Audition amp. I notice that most amps have a gain knob on it. My amp doesn't have one all it has is a volume knob, a treble knob and a bass knob with a clean and distortion switch. Without the gain knob I have alot of trouble figuring out getting certain kinds of distortion sounds. I mainly play classic rock. Can you try to help me get a Guns N Roses or a Van Halen sound with my amp? I would appreciate the help." View Response
