August 28th, 2008 - Stevenstratt asked "Hey guys. I Have a custom made guitar. It was made by stevens stringed instruments. They are no longer around unfortunately. It is a fender strat copy with a schuller made floyd rose tremolo system. It has 3 seymour duncan pickups. It is the most comfortable guitar I've ever played. I use dean markley blue steel regular strings. I've had the guitar tuned by professionals but it doesn't seem to hold it's intonation very well. Maybe it's the strings. I also have a les paul with the same problem. I've played on friends guitars with the same problem. How do you get a guitar to have a perfect pitch. Thanks. I hope this is a video response question." It was just too big for me, and I remember in one of the instructionals the instructor said to be comfortable with your guitar. So tonight I went out and bought a new guitar...it was not the one I wanted (could not afford the one I wanted...Martin 000XE). I ended up buying a Martin LXM travel guitar. It's very small, but for some reason it feels much better when I play. My question is, will this hurt me in the long run playing a smaller size guitar? Lets say I save enough to buy a Martin X series in a regular size, will I have problems converting from the small LXM to the larger scale X series. Thank you for your help. Djhectichector asks, "I'm currently practicing on backing tracks I've bought and i have noticed on the corresponding chord sheet there are chords such as D/F# etc. How do i work out the notes in that chord? Sorry if this is a bit OTT for my level (Half way through modes) Typical song containing this chord by the way is (Wonderful tonight by Eric Clapton.)
